Course Description
This course introduces learners to the fundamental concepts and principles of electrical engineering. It is designed to provide a strong foundation for understanding how electrical systems work, making it ideal for beginners and students pursuing studies in electrical and electronics engineering.
The course covers key topics such as basic electrical quantities (voltage, current, resistance), Ohm’s Law, electrical circuits, power and energy, series and parallel circuits, electrical components, and basic circuit analysis. Learners will also explore the behavior of direct current (DC) circuits and be introduced to essential measuring instruments used in electrical work.
Through clear notes, practical examples, interactive activities, quizzes, and assignments, students will develop the ability to analyze simple circuits, perform basic calculations, and apply electrical principles to real-life situations.
By the end of this course, learners will have the knowledge and skills needed to progress to more advanced topics such as electronics, power systems, and control engineering.
